Blogging has been around for a few years now. Most people use blogs to record their thoughts and lives, while the select few use them as a free way to make a fortune.

One guy who uses this to his advantage is Rob Benwell. Last year he dished the dirt on the tips and tricks to making a fortune using blogging. Steve Renner: …the key to really, really, really make money online is that you need to make a small amount of money from a lot of people. Making money online, if you’re selling $10 ebooks or $50 ebooks or something like that, you’ve got to sell a lot of ebooks to make several million dollars in sales. PPC advertising is, in my opinion, probably the best and most effective internet marketing strategy of getting instant, high quality visitors to make money online.

Also known as a pay-for-performance advertising model, PPC stands for pay-per-click. You basically bid for keywords you want to rank for and you pay your bid amount every time somebody clicks on your advertisement. You usually get ranked on the advertisement section on the right hand side of pay-per-click search engines. The ranking of your ad will depend on how much you bid, how much competition there is and how relevant your ad is.

Here are the two major recommended PPC search engines:

• Overture (Yahoo) (http://www.overture.com)

Here’s a quick and simple internet marketing strategy to make money online… without your own website:

Step 1 - Find A Product/Service To Promote

First off, find a product or service out there which you can promote by joining their affiliate program. Digital products such as ebooks and softwares tend to pay out higher affiliate commission (50% plus), since they have lower costs thus higher profit margins. You can find a list of digital products to promote from at clickbank.com.

Step 2 - Register A Domain Name

You can register a domain name for $9 over at NameCheap.com or GoDaddy.com. Make sure that your domain name is related to the product or service you will be promoting to make money online. For example, if the product you’re promoting is called “The Ultimate Guide To Make Money Online”, then register your domain name something like UltimateGuideToMakeMoneyOnline.com. Now all you simply have to do is redirect your domain name to your affiliate link.

Step 3 - Drive Traffic

Now all you have to do is to drive traffic to your domain name and you’ll begin to make money online! The recommended method is pay-per-click advertising. Just go to adwords.google.com, register an account, and set up your campaign. Another method is article marketing, where you submit articles to directories and have your link in the “Author’s Bio” section.

Today Internet blogs are becoming a popular way of getting the word out about services and products or whatever you want to say. You can increase blog exposure by following these several steps.

The first step to increase blog traffic is to make sure you have enough keywords in your posts so that people can see them when searching for something. You will increase blog exposure if your posts are all about something in a consistent pattern and are frequently referenced. Tagging is a similar method you can use to increase blog exposure in that it involves creating keywords that your articles will be read under. By using this websites like Technorati that search blogs will help to increase blog exposure for you.

Next, you should submit your blog to RSS readers. This helps to increase blog exposure because when you send your RSS to a website like Google or Yahoo your blog will be indexed by that site and will be notified when it is updated. Also, you can send your blog to individual search engines like AltaVista. Ping sites help to increase blog exposure. Whenever you add a post to your blog you should ping it so that a ping site like Ping-O-Matic will be able to recognize it as updated.

Link trading is a good way to increase blog traffic. By using a program like Zeus you can increase traffic by creating a link directory for your blog. If you trade links with other users you will be more likely to increase blog exposure as a result. This makes link trading a good option. Also, if you reference another blog in your post use a track back so that the blog you referred to can be accessed from your post. This helps to increase blog exposure because the blog you link to will recognize you and promote your blog as a result.
