Build Your List Using Viral Marketing

When it comes to internet marketing, everyone has their own tactics and strategies that they use. The overall goal is pretty much the same, to get customers to your website to purchase the goods and services that you offer there, there are just different ways of going about it. Some people use traffic exchanges, some use banners and link sharing, and others use an opt-in list, which helps build up a customer base, and then they slyly slip in their own ads from time to time, and others combine several different tactics. The one common strategy that many internet marketers use is viral marketing. If you aren’t yet familiar with the term, keep reading, as you are about to learn just what viral marketing is, and how you can use it to help build your opt-in list.

With viral marketing, you create a product, or even just an e-mail, including your website address and your name, usually in the form of a resource box, and get that product or email out there to as many people as possible, so that your link gets seen. If the receiver finds the product or email of interest, then hopefully they will visit your site, and make a purchase while they are there. There are many viral marketing tactics used today, but we will list a few of the more common here so that you can get a better idea.

The most common method of viral marketing today involves creating an e-book. You pick a topic that is related to your website, and create an e-book on that topic. You want the e-book to be well-written, and provide factual, useful information to the reader. Using keywords will be a good idea, and it is important that you insert links to your site within the e-book, but not so often as to appear blatant or annoying to the reader. Give this book away for free, to your opt-in list, on your website, and to anyone else that may be interested, and allow these people to also give the book away for free, provided that they don’t change any of the content.

If you aren’t really familiar with e-books, or don’t want to put that much time and effort into a product, you could also use the same technique and develop a report, which of course, would be shorter, and take less time to create.

If you already have an opt-in list established, you can create an informative e-mail, with your links included, and send it out to your members, again allowing them to use it for their own purposes provided that they leave it whole.

If you already use article marketing for your website, as many marketers now do, allow your list subscribers to sign up to receive free articles in their e-mail, with your links included, and allow them to use the articles for their own purposes, again, making certain they understand that they are to be used as is. You may also want to allow them to include links of their own that is solely up to you.

As you build up a reputation of creating quality products that others can use, you will find that more and more people start visiting your site, and signing up for your opt-in list, and that the profits are increasing nicely, with little effort and almost no expenditure on your part!

Remember to visit and get hold of The Viral Marketing Blackbook to discover the exact step-by-step process to creating your ultra-profitable viral marketing campaign when it goes live on Tuesday 19th June 8AM EST:
