This is one of the things I love about Facebook. Once you add enough friends, you start to see connections between your friends. This is true of a lot of my UK friends - once I'm back in the UK, a few people are due for an evening of "how do you know them?" :D

Indeed, the internet has made the world we live in to be much smaller place than we actually think is. I've made a couple of friends whom I'd not have otherwise met if not for blogging.

And you are one of them. Jason has certainly made a name for himself in the blogging realm. Good to know that you both 'clicked'.

Hi Stanley,

I got on Twitter in September of 2008, to try for a free pass to BlogWorld Expo 2008. Met the executive through another twitter'er and offered free videos of the sessions (20+ in 2 1/2 days!) in exchange for an unlimited pass.

Met some very successful people Jeremy Shoemaker, aka shoemoney.com, John Chow, JohnChow.com , Darren Rowse Problogger.com and won a free dinner with all of them and more!

Helped Shawn Collins with his microphone, did not know who he was before, co-founder of AffiliateSummit.com and he gifted me with a Unlimited Platinum Pass to Affiliate Summit 2009 in Las Vegas Nevada, USA.

People are the key to successful marketing. Now I'm looking for that success, just won an Online Profits course from John Chow twitter contest, and going through the lessons. So much mystery to this online game, but potential profits keeps me going.

Respectfully,

Nicholas Chase
