Hi, I’m Stanley Tang – a 19 year old tech entrepreneur, author and student. Since 2006, I’ve been building internet businesses ranging from online magazines to social web applications. I also published a book called eMillions, which was a #1 best-seller on Amazon.com.
I’m inspired by technology, startups, design, innovation, philosophy and business. I love engaging in the creative process of building tech startups.
Right now, I’m pursing a Computer Science degree at Stanford University. Be sure to look around to check out what I’ve been up to lately.

Great find! I’ve long said that social media are nothing new; just tools for human communication, so it’s great to see this 1935 equivalent from London, England.
The principles we’re using are no different from what generations of humans have been using, just the tools have been ‘modernized’. Indeed, social media are no more complex than the telephone; just realise that the whole world can tap into your conversations – and with that comes incredible power too.
Lame!
Unlike Denzel, I think this is great! I love it! The social proof was built even back then. I wonder if there are other things like that?
Keep up the great work Stanley!

Pretty funny stuff. Yet so very true.
This is a great find and is a great representation that social networking has been around for a long time. Although, back then they didn’t realize that down the road it was going to be as successful as it is today!
I love seeing articles like that. Thanks

The only difference that it doesn’t have birds
Great find!
lol, great finds, how do people follow each others at that time
Wow that is definitely a great find! imediately as I read this I went over to “http://www.notificator.com/” amazing!! it’s linked to twitter search.
fabulous!
really great, thanks for the information!
Why would anyone comment professing that they “have always thought that social networking has been around long before the internet”, as if anyone thinks that the internet enabled humans to be social and to network? To say “I’ve long thought that..” is about as insightful and grand as saying that “I’ve always said that cereal is a breakfast treat.” Pfft. Sheesh. Geniuses.
