   Great find! I’ve long said that social media are nothing new; just tools for human communication, so it’s great to see this 1935 equivalent from London, England.

   The principles we’re using are no different from what generations of humans have been using, just the tools have been ‘modernized’. Indeed, social media are no more complex than the telephone; just realise that the whole world can tap into your conversations – and with that comes incredible power too.

   This is a great find and is a great representation that social networking has been around for a long time. Although, back then they didn’t realize that down the road it was going to be as successful as it is today!

    Why would anyone comment professing that they “have always thought that social networking has been around long before the internet”, as if anyone thinks that the internet enabled humans to be social and to network? To say “I’ve long thought that..” is about as insightful and grand as saying that “I’ve always said that cereal is a breakfast treat.” Pfft. Sheesh. Geniuses.
