Few weeks ago, I approached Jason Pereira of TheUniversityKid.com. He’s one of the most successful young bloggers out there, so since we are both teenage entrepreneurs, there is no reason not to get to know him. Plus, he was in Hong Kong so we got to hang out
Little did I know that an internet marketer from Dubai turns out to beĀ friends with several of my mates in the same year from my school (I’ve been following his blog for 8 months now and only found out a few days ago) Who knows? There are probably dozens more people out there who I know indirectly and then turns out to be my cousin’s best friend
What a small world we live in. It feels like everybody is connected in a giant spider web – the six degrees of separation. That’s the beauty of the internet.
Hi, I’m Stanley Tang – a 19 year old tech entrepreneur, author and student. Since 2006, I’ve been building internet businesses ranging from online magazines to social web applications. I also published a book called eMillions, which was a #1 best-seller on Amazon.com.
I’m inspired by technology, startups, design, innovation, philosophy and business. I love engaging in the creative process of building tech startups.
Right now, I’m pursing a Computer Science degree at Stanford University. Be sure to look around to check out what I’ve been up to lately.

HI,
You have such fu things and good info. I enjoy them very much.
Hi Stanley,
I got on Twitter in September of 2008, to try for a free pass to BlogWorld Expo 2008. Met the executive through another twitter’er and offered free videos of the sessions (20+ in 2 1/2 days!) in exchange for an unlimited pass.
Met some very successful people Jeremy Shoemaker, aka shoemoney.com, John Chow, JohnChow.com , Darren Rowse Problogger.com and won a free dinner with all of them and more!
Helped Shawn Collins with his microphone, did not know who he was before, co-founder of AffiliateSummit.com and he gifted me with a Unlimited Platinum Pass to Affiliate Summit 2009 in Las Vegas Nevada, USA.
People are the key to successful marketing. Now I’m looking for that success, just won an Online Profits course from John Chow twitter contest, and going through the lessons. So much mystery to this online game, but potential profits keeps me going.
Respectfully,
Nicholas Chase

@Nicholas – Wow. That’s awesome dude
Indeed, the internet has made the world we live in to be much smaller place than we actually think is. I’ve made a couple of friends whom I’d not have otherwise met if not for blogging.
And you are one of them. Jason has certainly made a name for himself in the blogging realm. Good to know that you both ‘clicked’.

This is one of the things I love about Facebook. Once you add enough friends, you start to see connections between your friends. This is true of a lot of my UK friends – once I’m back in the UK, a few people are due for an evening of “how do you know them?”
Yeah – for sure, it is surprising who you know and how they know someone you know.
