Welcome Apple Daily Readers!

News, Personal Thoughts & Ideas

Welcome to readers of Apple Daily that are visiting from the publication this morning regarding the release of my upcoming book, eMillions: Behind-The-Scenes Stories of 14 Successful Internet Millionaires. If you would like to pre-order copy of that book, then head over to Amazon.com or to a local bookstore (preferably PageOne or Commercial Press).

I have also set up a eMillions Blog where I provide you a “behind-the-scenes” look at a best-selling book in the making. I reveal everything from how to write your book to finding a publisher to promoting your book. You may visit that at http://www.emillionsblog.com

If this is your first time to StanleyTang.com then let me give you a quick tour of the place. Grab a coffee and make yourself comfortable while I show you around.

Firstly, StanleyTang is a blog about my life and experiences as a teenage entrepreneur. I post thoughts and opinions as well as document what is it I do. Topics range from internet marketing to affiliate marketing to blogging to ecommerce to personal life. Here’s a couple of links to give you a little information about me.

    Hi Stanley,

I wish you all the best! I think you are very talented. You goal of earning billions before 30 is good. However, I wish this is not the only goal in your life.

I hope you could be a role model for other teenagers, contribute to the societies, and helping the poor.

I do not like appledaily which highlight the “money earning” aspect of your talent.

Anyway, I am sure you will have many other media exposures, but please, try to use the best of them , not only to promote yourself, but also deliver good and healthy messages.

    May God bless you.

    Dear Stanley,

Wishing you the best of luck with your book and business. Looks like you are very knowledgeable in promoting yourself online. And the front page news coverage of you and your book can help quite a bit.

    Best Regards,
    Kempton

P.S. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you take a look of Alice S.’ new bio of Warren Buffett “The Snowball”. I think it is a good read and I’ve recommended it to my friends.

Nice job! I have noticed your presence in IM since your book on viral marketing. btw I’m in HK as well with similar goal as yours. Probably we could do some JVs together (though I’m yet to get to the same position like you)

@steve yup. used to be PR3 but got decreased in the last google update (there was a period where I didn’t update my blog for a couple of months. I guess that’s the reason). I have plenty of other sites which all have PR3s and PR4s.

@Carrie thanks. Yes, apple daily did exaggerate many of the things I said and put some of my quotes out of context. I did try to deliver a message by telling them money isn’t everything… and there is hope in an economic crisis

    @deby sorry the blog can’t read chinese… :(

@Kempton thanks. Yes the frontpage coverage will. It was all part of the promotion plan ;) No I haven’t read The Snowball, I will check it out though.

@Ken thanks Ken. Email me if you are interested (go to my contacts page)

Well done. Just to let you know I did not borrow a single dollar off my dad when I made my first US$10,000. The only money my dad gave me was when I needed investment for my book. And you shouldn’t believe in everything that article says… it’s Appledaily. There are obviously many exaggerations and quotes put out of context.

I saw a lot of negative post in Appledaily. Anyway, you have done a great job and just neglect other’s bad comments because those criticized you cannot even write a page of your book.

I don’t like reading, probably I won’t read your book but I do wish you can suceed in near future!

Hot ideas and great success often brought controversy criticism, that’s the law. A lot of people hate Bill Gates and Li Ka Shing but they are successful, that’s why.

    Hi Steve,

I am amazed by the essay on Apple Daily. I admit that I wrote some comments at Apple Daily’s page, but I still think you’re a successful teenager. After a few years my webpage is still just load of my hobbies, which only worth seeing, lol.

Actually you are born to success! You are living in a very good family, so make use of everything your family can provide you! Wish you luck!!

I see you have set your goal for the following years. I can hardly see a teenager in Hong Kong have such positive attitude towards difficulties. Wish you have good luck in the future!

    Hi Stanley,

Appreciate what you have done in your age.

In current economic situation, easy money has gone far away. So that entrepreneur and their products must be really useful to users. I was also doing some kind of web 2.0 project (beta.homebloc.com) aiming at create value to users in the reality. If you would like to exchange ideas on web entrepreneurship, feel free to give me an email.

LOL!! I read the news and visited ur site. i think ur blog content is not good enough man ….. the news claimed that u design ur own website.. etc…. obviously this theme is not designed by u? one more thing: i think its good enough to learn about internet marketing by reading johnchow and problogger.com? lol… good lucks..

  24. stanleytang October 20, 2008 at 1:52 pm

Obviously not… cause its my blog. I create my other sites (i.e. the ones that make me the money). This is just where I post about my personal thoughts. And obviously you didn’t read my other blog post over at http://www.emillionsblog.com. Like I said, AppleDaily exaggerates many things so not everything in that article is 100% true.

And speaking of JohnChow, here’s me featured on his site:

I suggest you to go read my interview with Shoemoney:
